Julie (Franzen) Cicherski-Director/ 13s Head Coach & 12 and Under Head Coach
Coach Julie graduated from SHSU-1995, Director/ Head Coach of Montgomery Gold Volleyball. Head Coach at Montgomery High School 1997-2004, JV Coach at Clear Creek High School-1996, Assistant Volleyball Coach at SHSU- 1995. She has 17 years of coaching experience, and has coached club volleyball for the past 7 seasons. Her accomplishments in coaching include: 2- 18-4A District Championships & Coach of the Year (2000 & 2002), 5 Regional Quarterfinalist. She has helped assist over 30 players that went on to play at the collegiate level. She played high school for Jersey Village (1991) and club volleyball for Club Texas, under Houston Greater Area Volleyball Coaches Association President John Turner. As a player at SHSU, playing under Head Coach Brenda Gray, she received Southland Conference Player of the Year (1993), 1st Team All-Conference (1993 & 1994), 1st Team All-Regional (1993 & 1994), AVCA National Leader in Assist for Division I volleyball and named National Player of the Week (Nov, 1993). She was the first volleyball player ever to be named to the Sam Houston State Hall of Honor (2007). She has a master's degree in Education (2007). She is married to John Cicherski and has 2 children Joshua (7 years) & Jenna (5 years).

Cathy Packard- 14s Head Coach
Coach Cathy Packard will be beginning her first year with Montgomery Gold. As a player, she played club volleyball for 3 years, she also played for Conroe High School as the setter and captain in 2000-2002. Following high school she attended Sam Houston State University playing on the intramural volleyball team.
Megan Holland-12 and Under Head Coach
Coach Megan will be entering her 2nd year at Montgomery Gold. She played for Conroe High School and played club volleyball for 5 years. Megan helped coach Extreme's Cobra Program and is a certified USAV volleyball official.

Amanda Reed- Private Lessons Coach
Coach Amanda (Allen) Reed will be beginning her first year with Montgomery Gold. As a player, she played high school for Montgomery High School, a 4 year letter winner. Following high school she played college volleyball at McNeese State University.
Dori Napp-12 and Under Assistant Coach
Coach Dori will be beginning her 1st year at Montgomery Gold. She played for Dumas High School and played club volleyball. Coach Dori has also helped coach summer camps and currently plays on SHSU's intramural volleyball team.
